Flaviar Advent Calendar (2022) - The Depths of Whiskey. Whiskey #19. Product of Japan, 46% abv.
The smell is not very appealing, almost like moldy rice and wet cardboard boxes. There is a bit of plum that is trying to get through but there is a strong chemical nail polish remover smell holding back the plum.
The taste is awful. I am getting overcooked/burned rice. Like when you burn something in the pan and all you can taste are the chemical compounds of the burnt food item. Wow - it is awful. I am sorry but I can’t take another drink to write anything else.
The finish is not being documented. I am done.
I have no idea what is in this vile but I’m dumping the rest. I rarely say that something isn’t drinkable in the right situation but this one unfortunately hits that mark. WTF did I just consume?
